Summer Learning Journey DAY 1: In the Beginning. Activity 1:The Legend of New Zealand
Hello Fellow bloggers today for Summer Learning Journey we had to go to this site Tourism NZ website to learn about New Zealand. We had to chose 3 fun fact to put on our blog. I chose: 1. New Zealand is one of the three countries in the world that has two official national anthems of equal standing. The first is God Save the Queen and the other is God Defend New Zealand. 2. New Zealanders love cars with 2.5 million cars for 4 million people making them one of the countries to have the highest car ownership rate in the world. 3. New Zealand was once governed as part of the territory of New South Wales and later a part of Australia.

I love reading what you think,so for next time, try and remember to write the facts in your own words rather than copy and paste, so I can read what you think .That is a good idea to link the Tourism New Zealand website so people visiting your blog can see where you picked your facts from. Did you learn anything when your read the facts? I definitely didn’t know that New Zealand was once governed as part of Australia!

ReplyDeleteToday is the last day of the Summer Learning Journey! Congratulations for participating again this year. Have you enjoyed being apart of the Summer Learning Journey? I have loved being back again for another summer. One of my favourite activities is the Surf’s Up activity. I have loved reading about what everyone enjoys doing during their summer break. What was your favourite activity?
