Hello fellow bloggers for Summer Learning Journey today we have to say why or why not we won't to visit Tane Mahuta. I would like to visit Tane Mahuta because I would like to help find out how to protect it from a disease called kauri dieback.
That is a good reason why to go visit Tāne Mahuta! Did you know that Tāne Mahuta is located Waipoua Forest in your very own Northland? How lucky is the Northland to have such a special Kauri Tree! Well luckily in New Zealand, we have protections in place to save native and important trees. Although, in 2018 Tāne Mahuta was considered threatened by a famous tree disease Kauri dieback. If you want to find out more about Kauri Dieback here is a link: https://www.kauridieback.co.nz/what-is-kauri-dieback/
Keep up the awesome work! I am really enjoying reading your blogs :)
